KOLKATA: Firstsource Solutions, a RP-Sanjiv Goenka group company, is looking to diversify into other segment of operations such as software management, software development from being a pure play BPO company.
Riding on higher revenue and better cost management, the company reported a 21.5% rise in net profit at Rs 71.3 crore in the July-September quarter of the current financial year against Rs 58.7 crore in the same period last fiscal. Revenues grew 12.3% to Rs 884.4 crore during the period under review compared to Rs 787.8 crore during the same period last year.

BPM firm Firstsource Solutions, an RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group company is looking at global acquisitions as the path to grow its business and diversify portfolio in the coming years.
The BPM (business process management) company is on the lookout to acquire niche companies mainly in UK and USA, whose products and services are in line with the category, Firstsource is in.

Mumbai-headquartered Firstsource Solutions Ltd, an RP-Sanjiv Goenka group company, may look at other revenue streams, going beyond its core business process management services.
According to Sanjiv Goenka, Chairman, Firstsource, the company will take a call in this regard later He did not elaborate on the streams that Firstsource will look at but maintained that these could be related to “value-addition services to customers”

Firstsource Solutions Limited, which employs over 1,000 people in Derry, has reported revenues of $132.1 million, an increase of 12.3% year-on-year-compared to $117.7 million for the quarter ended September 2015.
The company reported its consolidated financial results for the quarter ended September 2016 according to Indian Accounting Standards (IND AS).
