Paul Turrell is a veteran leader with 35+ years of experience globally in the banking and financial services industry in roles straddling operations, technology, sourcing, captive build-out, M&A, shared services, and finance.
He has been instrumental in driving transformational initiatives and delivering operational excellence for multiple leading banks including Deutsche Bank, RBS, Credit Suisse, and most recently, HSBC where he was Global COO. He led the bank’s strategy and execution program and was appointed interim head of the bank’s Wealth and Personal Banking Operations. In 2022, Paul assumed responsibility for the ‘Finance on the Cloud’ transformation program before retiring in late April 2023.
Paul has three children and six grandchildren. He enjoys all competitive sports and has completed several long-distance challenges to raise money for Children’s Hospices in Northeast London and Jersey.
