Arup is an accomplished leader a proven track record across Product Management, Operations and Organizational Development. He has extensive experience of building, transforming global teams and coaching people leaders. Arup is passionate about making the internet a safer place and creating value on internet platforms and he has successfully spearheaded company-wide initiatives in the areas of GenAI, Trust & Safety, Customer Support, and Privacy.
Currently Arup is the Managing Director of Trust Lab Inc (a Silicon Valley start-up) and XP Integrity (a Singapore-based start-up) that work with big tech, social media platforms, marketplaces, unicorns, and public sector organizations across domains of online safety, product scaling, growth, and operations.
Previously, Arup was the global leader on Meta Platform’s Trust &Safety, Partner & Support Engineering teams (400+ Full Time Employees). He was accountable for solving problems across Risk (Ads, Content and Developers) and Customer Support (Advertiser, Developers, Users). His teams were responsible to ensure Safe & Trusted connections between millions of people and businesses. Based out of the Singapore office, he was a part of Meta’s APAC leadership team and Site leader for all of Global Operations & Integrity organization (with more than 500 full time employees).
At Google, Arup built and led content growth as well as risk teams across the portfolio of monetized and non-monetized products. These teams were responsible for enhancing publisher partnerships as well as policy development, integrity engineering and product risk operations. During his time at Google, Arup built the first cross-product abuse fighting framework on Google products.
Previously, Arup has had stints with start-ups, where his roles ranged from product management to leading growth teams. He has co-founded data analytics start-up building scalable products and was a part of core leadership team at another where he oversaw 10x growth in revenue. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and an MBA.
Arup is affiliated with the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (National University of Singapore) and conducts exec leadership programs. He coaches leaders extensively on leadership, growth mindset, building/scaling teams & operations and organizational design.
