Global hyperscaler lands 6-language IIT/JEE test bank

Overview
Building an AI model for a competitive-exam market means the training content has to be tighter than the exam itself.
A Global Hyperscaler needed IIT/JEE Mains—quality assessment content authored, validated, and localized across English and five Indian languages at a standard that could hold up to a board of professors.
Firstsource built new test papers, validated existing ones, and localized across six languages with 100% expert-team QA.
This was Intelligence that Operates: assessment content authored to exam-grade standards on the same pipeline that localized it.
Challenges
- Competitive-exam content can't be crowdsourced. IIT/JEE Mains—grade questions require subject-domain professors, not generalist content writers, and have to pass review from people who could set the actual exam.
- Localization across 5 Indian languages isn't translation. Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Telugu, and Tamil each have their own conventions for math notation, scientific vocabulary, and pedagogical phrasing. A literal translation produces unusable test items.
- Existing databases have hidden error rates. Hidden error rates in existing question banks only surface when domain, subject, and language experts review every item, not when a sampling-based QA passes it.
How We Made It Happen
We assembled an expert team across domains, subjects, and languages ” running creation, validation, and localization on a single quality bar.
- 100% expert team of professors across all six languages. Subject-matter experts authored new test papers and reviewed existing ones, with credentialed language experts handling localization rather than translation.
- SFT/CoT Demonstration Data at exam-grade standard. Each test paper was authored and validated to the level that a competitive-exam board would accept usable as ground-truth training content for educational AI.
- One quality discipline across creation, validation, and localization. Errors caught at any stage routed back through the same expert team rather than batched into a downstream QA queue.
Conclusion
Educational AI for competitive-exam markets only works if the training content holds up to expert scrutiny. Firstsource ran that program at exam-grade standard across six languages ” turning assessment content into Intelligence that Operates.
