Aftab Javed is the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Firstsource.
He holds a wealth of experience in HR strategy, talent management and organizational development, and his expertise spans across many geographies, industries and services – including BPO, retail, banking, manufacturing and IT Services.
From accelerating our focus on training employees in cutting-edge digital technologies, supporting our communities, fostering inclusive and safe workspaces, and expanding geographies – Aftab plays a pivotal role in further driving our people-centric and purpose-driven approach.
Aftab has spearheaded many groundbreaking projects in his career spanning 25+ years, including establishing a new Flex/Part-time working model and setting up BPO units in the Middle East and Africa. He partnered the launch of all-women center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – a one-of-its-kind in the region.
His last stint was with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), where he was driving employee engagement and implementing innovative HR initiatives, with earlier stints in Citi BPO and Tata Motors Ltd.
Aftab is based in Mumbai, India.
