Rajesh is responsible for driving the company’s strategic and corporate initiatives globally and evolving the company’s business model towards achieving the long term growth, profitability and industry leadership of the organisation.
Prior to joining the company in 2011 as Deputy Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer (CFO), he was the Managing Director of Walden India Advisors Private Limited, responsible for leading all investment initiatives and managing portfolio companies. He has also been the CFO of Firstsource from November 2002 to June 2008. He has held several global leadership positions in his career including roles in ICICI Bank, KPMG, E&Y, Pioneer ITI AMC (now part of Franklin Templeton) and GIV Venture Partners. He has earned his MBA from Richmond College, London and is a commerce graduate from Madras University, India.
Dinesh oversees Firstsource’s global finance, banking, accounting and corporate taxation. He is also responsible for all strategic financial activities including business planning, forecasting and analysis, management systems and statutory compliance. He has been with Firstsource since inception and was instrumental in consolidating the commercial and finance functions globally.
Prior to joining Firstsource, he was with ICICI Bank, responsible for US GAAP financials. He played an important role in the US listing of ICICI and ICICI bank as well as in the merger of ICICI and ICICI bank. A commerce graduate from Jodhpur University, India, he is also a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and a Cost Accountant from The Institute of Cost and Works Accountants Of India.
Shalabh Jain is the President & COO of Customer Management business at Firstsource. In this role, he manages the Customer Management operations across North America, UK and Asia. Prior to this role, Shalabh headed the Business Transformation office at Firstsource being responsible of new technology partnerships, driving innovation across processes and creating value added solutions for clients. He was also responsible for bringing together existing best practices across the company in a holistic manner coupled with new product development leveraging technology and analytics.
Prior to joining Firstsource in 2010, he was the Head of Domestic Business, at MphasiS. He brings to the table over 20 years of work experience in various organisations like Wipro, Compaq/HP, GE, IBM Daksh and Mphasis.
He is a Mechanical Engineering graduate from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur. He also holds an MBA (Finance) from the Institute of Management Technology(IMT), Ghaziabad, India.
Venkat is in charge of Firstsource’s Healthcare Payer, Provider and Publishing businesses. With his rich experience in business process outsourcing (BPO) services he oversees operations spread across USA and India, serving clients in the Healthcare Payer and Publishing markets. His responsibilities include profitability, growth, customer satisfaction and employee satisfaction.
Prior to joining Firstsource, he served with Lason Inc. and was responsible for BPO operations. A graduate in Physics, he also holds a Certificate in Management Development from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmadabad, India.
Arjun focuses on all stages of the Collections business over the life cycle of delinquent and charged off debts. The business practices that he manages span credit card, automobile, student loan, healthcare and telecom.
Prior to this role, he was the Chief Financial Officer of US Operations for Firstsource. He began his career with Tata Tea, and then joined Enron India Private Limited as Finance Controller at Enron’s Broadband Unit. He holds a post graduate degree in Business Management from the University of Queensland, Australia and a graduate degree in Physics from St Xavier’s College, Mumbai, India.
Arun Tyagi is EVP - Head of ACM Domestic Business at Firstsource. In this profile, he oversees Operations for domestic businesses delivered out of India and Sri Lanka. He is responsible for building and growing the business for the company. Prior to this, Arun has headed various departments including Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Audit, Legal, Regulatory & Contractual Compliance and Company Secretarial functions at different times in the company.
Prior to joining Firstsource, he worked with Indian market Research Bureau (IMRB) and American Express India Pvt. Ltd. He holds a commerce degree from Delhi University, India, and is also an MBA (Finance) from Amity University.
Ajit is the Chief Technology Officer at Firstsource. He is responsible for IT Services Delivery, Account & Project Management, Audits, Network & Communication, Information Risk Management and IT Infrastructure with Vendor Management functions under Technology.
This is Ajit’s second inning at Firstsource. In his first stint, he joined us in April 2005 and left in July 2012. He handled multiple roles of Global IT Procurement, Centre Kit outs and Infra set ups in India and abroad. His expertise lay in getting the best Procurement solutions in IT and Telecom, Sale & Lease Back (Asset Financing) and was a key participant in enterprise mergers and acquisitions in the role of technology and commercial due diligence. He has extensive international experience maintaining executive positions in USA, Hong Kong and China.
He brings with him over 20 years of experience with a strong background in technology and telecommunication, information technology platforms, network management, data centre management & infrastructure service management (ITIL). Apart from his 7 year stint at Firstsource, he has also worked in organisations such as Netmagic Solutions Pvt Ltd., Virtela, Anunta Technology Management Services Ltd bringing technical knowledge in Cloud Computing, Virtualization and Analytics.
Ajit holds a diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Mumbai University and is also certified by IIM- Bangalore as part of the Business Leadership Programme. He also holds a diploma in Software Exports from Intell Computer Education, Mumbai.
Deepti heads Global Governance and Strategic initiatives at Firstsource. In this role, she liaises with various account heads to identify persisting operational issues to drive efficiencies. In the wake of her expansive charter, Deepti will be the architect of the Knowledge Management framework. She has a multi-dimensional role with the responsibility to even spearhead critical strategic projects. Furthermore, the External Corporate Communications function also continues to be under her purview.
Prior to this role, she led the Human Resources function of the Organization, having been a key strengthening pillars of the same for 14 years.
She has over 16 years of work experience in various aspects of Human Resources. Prior to joining Firstsource, she was with BPL Mobile where she joined as a Management Trainee, worked in various roles handling Compensation & Benefits and regional HR responsibilities.
Deepti holds an Economics Honors degree from Indraprastha University and also holds a Post Graduate degree in Human Resources and International Marketing from Lal Bahadur Shastri (LBS) Institute of Management. Additionally, she has received a certification on Transactional Analysis (TA) coaching and is currently pursuing TA Advanced training.
Rick Sturge has over 30 years of experience and has worked in various capacities in finance (as European CFO), business development, managing director, consulting and advisory services. He has worked with companies such as Coopers & Lybrand, AMP, Serco Group, BT, PwC, Accenture, CIMA, WNS and IBM (then Concentrix) prior to joining Firstsource.
Rick is highly skilled in Finance, sales, commercial, business consulting, project management, M&A, international relations and business strategy. He is also a Mentor for young entrepreneurs and future CFOs, and was President for the ICAEW in west of England and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts.
Rick is an Accounting and Finance Graduate and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.
Laura has been a senior member of the Leadership team at Firstsource Solutions for the past 9 years. Prior to Firstsource she has worked in various industries including retail, hospitality and financial services. Laura has over 19 years experience with 13 years specialising in Human Resources. She is responsible for setting the strategic direction on all people practices across 6 delivery centres in the UK, employing 3500 employees.
She has vast experience in employee relations, TUPE, resourcing, performance management and employee well-being. Laura is MCIPD and holds a BA Hons degree in Business Administration, in addition to post graduate qualifications in Human Resources and Employment Law. Laura is a board member of Business in the Community Workplace 20:20 and NIUSE (Northern Ireland Union for Supported Employment) and a member of the Northern Ireland CIPD Committee.
Siddharth Parashar leads the Global Client Relationships for Customer Management Business at Firstsource. In this role, he has overall responsibility for the company’s revenue growth across all industry verticals, products, service lines and geographies. Siddharth is focused on strengthening the business development strategy in line with client needs and expectations, working closely with business leaders to build strategic partnerships and grow the business with existing and new clients.
Siddharth has been with Firstsource since 2004. Siddharth has held several leadership roles within the company, and he has spearheaded the Financial Services practice in the UK and multiple client operations across the Banking Financial Services and Insurance verticals.
Siddharth has 20 years of experience in the Business Process Outsourcing ranging from Migration, Operations and Client Relationship Management. Prior to joining Firstsource, Siddharth has worked with GE Capital and Ocwen Financial Services in various management positions in the US and Asia.
Erik Anderson serves as the President & CEO of ISGN Solutions and a senior member of the Firstsource Ltd executive team. ISGN Solutions is a premier provider of products, services and solutions to the U.S. mortgage industry. In his current role, Erik provides vision, leadership and management to the entire organization.
Prior to his current role, Erik held other senior roles at ISGN including President – Sales, Chief Administrative Officer, and General Counsel. Erik started his career as an attorney with the New York based law firm Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP with a focus on mergers, acquisitions and corporate finance. He graduated with honors from the Villanova University School of Law where he served as an editor of the Villanova Law Review and he holds an undergraduate degree in public accounting.
Mr. Sanjiv Goenka is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Firstsource Solutions Limited. As the Chairman of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, he spearheads one of India’s leading business conglomerates. He’s also the Chairman of CESC Limited and chairs the boards of a number of companies such as Phillips Carbon Black Limited and Spencer’s Retail Limited.
Mr. Goenka is currently the honorary consul of Canada in Kolkata. In April 2001, he took over as the youngest-ever president of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). He was appointed Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT-KGP) and currently serves on the board of the Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata (IIM-Kolkata).
Mr. Goenka was the former President of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) as well as the All India Management Association (AIMA), and a member of the Prime Minister's Council on Trade & Industry. He is also the current Chairman of the Board of Directors of Woodlands Medical Centre Ltd., Kolkata.
Mr. Malegam is a Director of the National Stock Exchange of India and other public listed companies. He was the Chairman of Securities & Exchange Board of India’s (SEBI) Accounting Standards Committee and a member of the Central Board of the Reserve Bank of India. He has been a Managing Partner of S. B. Billiomoria & Co., Chartered Accountants and Co-Chairman of Deloitte Haskins & Sells, Chartered Accountants. He has also been the President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has been a member of several major committees in the financial sector appointed in recent times.
Mr. Malegam was Chairman of the Committee appointed by the SEBI to review disclosure requirement in the Offer Documents (The Malegam Committee). He was also a member of the study group appointed by SEBI on accounting policies, net asset values and pricing of mutual funds and a member of the Kumar Mangalam Birla Committee appointed by SEBI on corporate governance. Mr. Malegam is a Chartered Accountant from India, England & Wales.
Mr. Smith is the former Chairman of Scottish Power, which he joined in 2000. He was appointed as the Chairman to the Scottish Power Advisory Board in 2007, following its integration with Iberdrola. He has also been the Chairman of Imperial Chemical Industries, where he joined as the Chief Executive in 1994. Prior to that, he was a Director at Unilever, where he held finance and general management positions in Unilever’s UK, Netherlands and Indian subsidiaries. He has served as a Non-Executive Director of Midland Bank Plc. and HSBC Holdings Plc. and has been an International Advisor to Goldman Sachs. He has also served as a Non-Executive Director of Midland Bank Plc. and HSBC Holdings Plc.
Mr. Smith has M.A. (Hons) Degree in Medieval and Modern History from St. Andrews in Scotland and he was awarded Honorary Doctorate in 1995.
Donald W. Layden, Jr. served as an advisor to Warburg Pincus, LLC, a leading global equity firm, for its payments and transaction processing investments. In addition, Mr. Layden served as a Director of Online Resources Corporation (ORCC:NASDAQ), a US public company that provides technology outsourcing to enable banking and payment transactions. Prior to that,
Mr. Layden served as the President of the International Group and Sr. Executive Vice President of corporate development at Metavante Technologies, Inc. He also served as General Counsel and Secretary of Metavante, which merged with Fidelity National Information Services, Inc. (NYSE: FIS) in 2009. Prior to joining Metavante, Mr. Layden held senior positions at Fiserv, Marshall & Ilsley and NuEdge Systems, a customer relationship management software company that was acquired by Metavante in 2004.
Mr. Layden holds a B.A in Economics and Political Science from Marquette University and a J.D. with honors from Marquette University Law School.
Pradip Roy is a Senior Advisor with the American investment advisory firm, Lincoln International Advisors Pvt. Ltd. He was also a Senior Advisor with Pipavav Defense and Offshore Engineering Company Ltd. He joined IDBI in 1979 and after working in various capacities over a span of 29 years, he retired as the Executive Director in 2008. Prior to his joining IDBI, he had 6 years of experience as a commercial banking officer. He has also worked with UTI AMC Limited in an advisory role.
Mr. Roy was appointed by the Government of India as a representative of the financial sector on the Working Group on Ports & Shipping under the Chairmanship of Secretary, Ministry of Shipping in August 2010. Mr. Roy is a management graduate from the University of Delhi (Faculty of Management Studies) and holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Petroleum Engineering. He has completed a graded programme on Investment Appraisal and Management from Harvard University USA. He is also Certificated Associate of Indian Institute of Bankers.
His paper on the Power Sector was selected by the World Energy Congress for presentation at its meeting held in October 2001 in Buenos Aires, Argentina. He is also on the Board of Directors of 9 Companies in India.
Subrata Talukdar is the Executive Director (Finance) and CFO of CESC Limited. He has been associated with the group for over two decades and has been instrumental in CESC’s success. Going beyond his core function of finance, Mr. Talukdar takes keen interest in the company’s operations and expansion plans. He is also a core member of the corporate strategy team.
A Chartered Accountant by profession, Mr. Talukdar began his career at the Indian arm of Coopers Lybrand, before switching over to the manufacturing sector, handling the finance portfolio. He is a commerce graduate and an alumnus of the Kellogg School of Management, USA.
Shashwat Goenka has joined the Board of Directors of Firstsource Solutions Limited after having worked with companies like Nestle India Limited and KPMG India. He has graduated from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Economics, specialising in Finance, Marketing and Management.
Soma Pandey as the Chief HR Officer is at the helm of all people-based initiatives, driving and sustaining a high-performance culture at Firstsource. People being the most critical and differentiating asset for
Firstsource, Soma provides the required strategic insights and pivotal guidance on all matters pertaining
to HR spanning organisation design, attraction, retention and development of talent. Soma also owns
the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) agenda for the company.
Soma joins us from Randstad India, where she was the Chief People Officer and Talent Architect. As a member of the leadership team there, she led strategic initiatives to transform the culture of the company. Soma was instrumental in building an effective leadership team with a robust succession plan, laying the foundation for a high performance culture and driving employee engagement. Soma started her career with ITC Ltd. and then worked for Mastek Ltd. in the UK, before she joined Accenture in India, where she held several leadership roles.
Soma holds a Chemistry Honors degree from Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and a PG Diploma in HR from XLRI.
Mr. V. K. Sharma has a distinguished track record of service with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) and as a member of the Markets Committee of RBI for International Settlements, Basel Switzerland. Mr. Sharma retired as Executive Director from RBI on 31st December, 2012. As Executive Director, Mr. Sharma was responsible for various critical and sensitive Departments covering areas such as Financial Markets, Foreign Exchange Reserves Management, Internal Debt Management, Human Resources, Administration, Currency Management, Rural Planning and Credit, Financial Inclusion, Customer Service, Premises and Regulation and Supervision of Urban Co-operative Banks.
Several of his research papers, articles and speeches have been published in leading business newspapers and prestigious journals for International Settlement (BIS) Reviews.
Mr. Sharma has served as Chairman/Member/Director of several important Committees/ Working Groups/Governing Boards/Councils/Bank Boards and represented RBI in various prestigious national and international forums.
Mr. Sharma is a CAIIB and holds M.Sc. degree in Physics from Saugor University, India. He also holds Advanced Studies Certificate in International Economic Policy Research from Kiel Institute of World Economics, Kiel, Germany.
Mr. Pradip Kumar Khaitan is the Senior Partner of Khaitan & Co. and is widely regarded as amongst the most influential legal practitioners in India. With over 40 years of experience,
Mr. Khaitan has advised on a wide range of transactions.
Mr. Khaitan is on the Board of Directors of several public listed companies in India and regularly advises on strategic decision and sensitive commercial and legal issues. Mr. Khaitan’s practice includes advising domestic business houses and international corporations, banks, development agencies and governments on all aspects of commercial and corporate laws, taxation, joint ventures, IPOs, mergers & de-mergers, corporate governance, restructuring and insolvency issues.
Mr. Khaitan is a B.Com., LL.B. and Attorney-at-law (Bell Chambers Gold Medalist). He has professional affiliations with Bar Council of India, Bar Council of West Bengal, Indian Council of Arbitration and Incorporated Law Society of Calcutta.
Ms. Grace Koshie joined RBI in 1976 as an Officer in Grade B. Before joining RBI, Ms. Koshie worked as a lecturer in Sophia College, Mumbai. She carries with her rich and varied experience of over 36 years in RBI, held charge of its Foreign Exchange Department from 2001 – 2004. She also served as Secretary to RBI’s Central Board.
Ms. Koshie has served as RBI nominee Director on the Boards of Dena Bank and Corporation Bank. She joined Federal Bank as an Independent Director in November, 2013.
Ms. Koshie is a post graduate in Economics with specialisation in Econometrics and Monetary Economics.
