Sanjiv Goenka
Mr.Sanjiv Goenka is the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Firstsource Solutions Limited. As the Chairman of the RP-Sanjiv Goenka Group, he spearheads one of the country’s leading business conglomerates. He’s also the Vice Chairman of CESC Limited and chairs the boards of a number of companies such as Phillips Carbon Black Limited and Spencer’s Retail Limited.

Mr. Goenka is currently the honorary consul of Canada in Kolkata. In April 2001, he took over as the youngest-ever president of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). He was appointed Chairman of the Board of Governors of the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur (IIT-KGP) and currently serves on the board of the Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata (IIM-Kolkata)

Mr. Goenka was the former President of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) as well as the All India Management Association (AIMA), and a member of the Prime Minister's Council on Trade & Industry. He is also the current Chairman of the Board of Directors of Woodlands Medical Centre Ltd., Kolkata.

Ananda Mukerji
Ananda Mukerji is the Vice Chairman of Board of Directors at Firstsource since July 2010. Prior to this, he was the Managing Director & CEO of Firstsource for a period of 9 years. He has over 23 years experience in the areas of project finance, corporate finance and investment banking. His association with the ICICI Group spans over a decade during which he set up and managed a number of new businesses for the group including the infrastructure, structured finance and advisory businesses. He has also been CFO of Enron India Limited and Group CFO of BPL Communications Ltd.

Mr.Mukerji has a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) from the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta and a graduate degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur.

Dr. Shailesh Mehta
Dr. Shailesh Mehta has been on the Firstsource Board since 2005 in various capacities. He is the founder and managing general partner of Granite Hill Capital Partners, an India-focused private equity fund. He is the former Chairman & CEO of Providian Financial Corp. Dr. Mehta joined the founding team of Providian Financial and successfully built it to a Fortune 300 company with over US$30 billion in assets and over 18 million customers. He has also been general partner with Invesco funds and operating general partner of Sequoia India.

Dr. Mehta has done B. Tech - Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Mumbai, M.S. Operations Research, Computer Science and Ph.D in Operations Research and Computer Science from Cleveland, USA. He also has honorary Ph.D. from California State University.

Y. H. Malegam
Mr. Malegam is currently the Chairman of SEBI’s Accounting Standards Committee and a member of the Central Board of the Reserve Bank of India. He is also a director of the National Stock Exchange and of several large public listed companies He has been a Managing Partner of S. B. Billiomoria & Co., Chartered Accountants and Co-Chairman of Deloitte Haskins & Sells, Chartered Accountants. He has also been the President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He has been a member of several major committees in the financial sector appointed in recent times.

Mr. Malegam was Chairman of the Committee appointed by the Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to review disclosure requirement in the Offer Documents (The Malegam Committee). He was also a member of the Study Group appointed by SEBI on accounting policies, net asset values and pricing of mutual funds and a member of the Kumar Mangalam Birla Committee appointed by SEBI on corporate governance. Mr. Malegam is a Chartered Accountant from India, England & Wales.

Charles Miller Smith
Charles Miller Smith is the former Chairman of Scottish Power, which he served since 2000. He was appointed as the Chairman to the Scottish Power Advisory Board in 2007, following its integration with Iberdrola. He has also been the Chairman of Imperial Chemical Industries, where he joined as the Chief Executive in 1994. Prior to that, he was a Director at Unilever, where he held finance and general management positions in Unilever’s UK, Netherlands and Indian subsidiaries. He has served as a Non-Executive Director of Midland Bank Plc. and HSBC Holdings Plc. and has been an International Advisor to Goldman Sachs International. He has also served as a Non-Executive Director of Midland Bank Plc. and HSBC Holdings Plc.

Mr. Smith has M.A. (Hons) Degree in Medieval and Modern History from St. Andrews in Scotland and he was awarded Honorary Doctorate in 1995.

Donald Layden Jr.
Donald W. Layden, Jr. currently serves as an advisor to Warburg Pincus, LLC, a leading global equity firm, for its payments and transaction processing investments. He is also a partner at Quarles & Brady, LLP, a Milwaukee, WI-based law firm. In addition, Mr. Layden serves as a Director of Online Resources Corporation (ORCC:NASDAQ), a US public company that provides technology outsourcing to enable banking and payment transactions. Previously, Mr. Layden served as the President of the International Group and Sr. Executive Vice President of corporate development at Metavante Technologies, Inc.
He also served as General Counsel and Secretary of Metavante, which merged with Fidelity National Information Services, Inc. (NYSE: FIS) in 2009. Prior to joining Metavante, Mr. Layden held senior positions at Fiserv, Marshall & Ilsley and NuEdge Systems, a customer relationship management software company that was acquired by Metavante in 2004.

Mr. Layden holds a B.A in Economics and Political Science from Marquette University and a J.D. with honors from Marquette University Law School.

K.P. Balaraj
K.P. Balaraj is Managing Director of WestBridge Advisors Private Limited. He was co-founder and Managing Director of WestBridge Capital Partners. He was also co-founder and Managing Director of Sequoia Capital India. Prior to that, he was a part of the private equity group at Goldman Sachs in Asia. In the early part of his career, he was an investment banker at Salomon Brothers in New York and a summer fellow at the White House in Washington DC.

Mr. Balaraj received an MBA from Harvard Business School in Boston and a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Brigham Young University in Hawaii, where he graduated as valedictorian of his class.

Haigreve Khaitan
Haigreve Khaitan is a Partner at Khaitan & Co., one of India’s leading law firms since 1911. Having started his career in litigation, Mr. Khaitan has over the years garnered rich experience in all aspects of M&As, private equity transactions as well as project finance. He advises a number of large Indian conglomerates and Multinational companies in various business sectors across infrastructure, power, telecom, automobiles, steel, information systems and retail.

He is on the Board of Directors of various public listed companies such as Ambuja Cements Ltd., Bajaj Corp Ltd., Ceat Ltd., Harrisons Malayalam Ltd., Inox Leisure Ltd., JSW Ispat Steel Ltd., Jindal Steel & Power Ltd., National Engineering Industries Ltd., Sterlite Technologies Ltd., The Oudh Sugar Mills Ltd., Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd., Xpro India Ltd., amongst others.

Pradip Roy
Pradip Roy is a Senior Advisor with the American investment advisory firm, Lincoln International Advisors Pvt. Ltd. He is also a Senior Advisor with Pipavav Defense and Offshore Engineering Company Ltd.  He joined IDBI in 1979 and after working in various capacities over a span of 29 years, he retired as the Executive Director in 2008. He has also worked with UTI AMC Limited in an advisory role.  

Mr. Roy was appointed by the Government of India as a representative of the financial sector on the Working Group on Ports & Shipping under the Chairmanship of Secretary, Ministry of Shipping in August 2010. Mr. Roy is a management graduate from the University of Delhi (Faculty of Management Studies) and holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Petroleum Engineering.

Subrata Talukdar
Subrata Talukdar is the Executive Director (Finance) and CFO of CESC Limited. He has been associated with the group for over two decades and has been instrumental in CESC’s success. Going beyond his core function of conventional finance, Mr. Talukdar takes keen interest in the company’s operations and expansion plans. He is also a core member of the corporate strategy team.

A Chartered Accountant by profession, Mr. Talukdar began his career at the Indian arm of Coopers Lybrand, before switching over to the manufacturing sector handling the finance portfolio. He is a commerce graduate and an alumnus of the Kellogg School of Management, USA.

Shashwat Goenka
Shashwat Goenka has joined the Board of Directors of Firstsource Solutions Limited after having worked with companies like Nestle India Limited and KPMG India. He has graduated from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science in Economics, specializing in Finance, Marketing and Management.

Rajesh Subramaniam

Rajesh Subramaniam the MD & CEO of Firstsource, is responsible for driving the company’s Banking and Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, Telecom and Media businesses globally. He has worked in leadership roles with organizations such as ICICI Bank, KPMG, E&Y, Pioneer ITI AMC (now part of Franklin Templeton) and GIV Venture Partners.

Prior to joining the Company in 2011 as Dy. MD & CFO, he was the Managing Director of Walden India Advisors Private Limited, responsible for leading all investment initiatives and managing portfolio companies. He has also been the CFO of Firstsource from November 2002 to June 2008. During his tenure with the Company, he was instrumental in building the Company to its IPO. He was also responsible for Strategy, M&A and Corporate Development.

Rajesh has completed his MBA from Richmond College, London, and is a commerce graduate from Madras University.
